Sunbelt Rentals enhances lighting fleet with Kight's off-Grid lighting technology.

Sunbelt Rentals has expanded its lighting fleet with the addition of Kight Off-Grid wind and solar temporary site lights. Kight’s fully off-grid lighting solutions operate solely on renewable energy, eliminating the need for backup generators. Simultaneously capturing energy from wind and solar sources year-round, Kight’s advanced technology is designed to work reliably in all weather conditions, even at temperatures as low as -25 degrees. Customers will benefit from the quick installation of this equipment, alongside the zero running costs and carbon-free solution.

The decision to invest in these sustainable portable lights follows successful strategic trials with several customers in different sectors. Monitored through Kight’s remote system, performance data was shared, affirming the lights’ efficacy on their customers’ sites. The products were also showcased at Sunbelt Rentals’s Go Greener Day at Reading Football Stadium to highlight their sustainable applications and low-carbon benefits to their customers.
